Hospital Prescriptions

NHS prescriptions issued by hospitals are only valid in hospital pharmacies.

Requests for private prescriptions or for NHS hospital prescriptions to be reissued from the practice need to be individually assessed by a practice doctor. This may result in the issuing of an alternative medication. Sometimes we may have to decline requests for re-issuing such prescriptions.

For more information on free or reduced prescription charges visit the Patient UK website.
